Durango Mountain Resort makes it easy for children of all ages to have the experience of a lifetime on the snow.
The Kids Ski & Ride School focuses on having fun, while teaching techniques to help master the mountain. Unique programs are geared specifically towards each child�s age and ability. Lessons are offered for half day morning sessions or all day sessions.
Lift tickets are included in each lesson and rentals are available through Purgatory Rentals. All day sessions include lunch.
Blizzard Babies - for children 2 months to 3 years
Blizzard Babies caters to our smallest adventurers. Fun indoor activities and outdoor snow play ensure your child will have a great day. Reservations are required.
Powder Pigs - for children 3 years
How many skiers can say they started skiing at age three? They supply a special Nordic ski, which allows the heel to lift. Lift tickets and ski rentals are included. Reservations are required.
Snowmonsters Ski Camp - for skiers 4 to 12 years
They teach beginners through black diamond experts. Children are grouped by ability, age, and level of interest. Lift ticket is included. Reservations not required.
Next X Snowboard Camp -for snowboarders 8 to 12 years
Whether your child is a first-time rider or a half pipe ripper,their lessons are designed to be loads of fun. Lift ticket is included. Reservations not required
